Comments

Cincinnati Insurance

Here is a question, a passenger is injured due to your negligence while you are driving but the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. Does this law resolve your responsibility, or at least limit your liability?

Playmobil

As for me, it's a yes. It's so easy to wear a seat belt. It will just take you seconds to wear it. It's for your own safety, so why does it always happen that people forget to wear seat belt.

Guy Chambliss

There are states where wearing a seatbelt is made a law. It all boils down to personal judgement. If studies show that wearing a seatbelt lessens the risk of fatal injuries from accidents, then it would be advisable for drivers to do so.
